EXPERIENCE

Jottan was established in 1974 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  In 1980, a second office was established in Jackson, New Jersey with a third in Baltimore, Maryland in 1983. 

The current management staff has a combined 100 years of commercial roofing experience. All offer vast expertise in roof system applications and project management. Jottan employs approximately 100 employees.

Where Safety Matters-- Our low EMR rating of 0.473 and an excellent overall safety record identifies Jottan as one of the regions top roofing contractors for safety.   Job site safety – for both our employees and our customers – is our primary concern.  With regular training and a safety incentive program, we ensure strong safety awareness.   

QUALITY

We have received numerous awards for quality applications and will accept nothing less than the manufacturer’s highest rating at the time of inspection. Our supervisory personnel complete all submittals and project related documentation in a timely and professional manner, keeping projects moving and avoiding any delays in project billing and payment. These components have combined to not only make Jottan what we believe is the best commercial roofing contractor in our region, but also has helped us achieve a DUNN & BRADSTREET rating of 3A1, the highest available to a company of our size. Jottan has in excess of 15 - million in total bonding capacity; 10 - million per project, with insurers in each state.
